"A young Montreal couple accused of planning to leave Canada to go fight with ISIS has been found not guilty of all terrorism-related offences."
"Montreal" couple Sabrine Djermane and El Mahdi Jamali merely had a hobby level interest in homemade explosives...
Prosecutor Lyne Décarie pointed to evidence including a recipe for a pressure cooker bomb, which was found on the bedside table in the couple's condo.

The jury also heard how during their investigation, RCMP officers discovered a pressure cooker and a dollar-store bag full of ingredients required for that recipe, including matches, a clock, coffee filters and nails.
Of course, the CBC is not a fan of actual evidence...
Keven Chartrand, who is with the RCMP and is a member of the Integrated National Security Enforcement Team said while going through a section of the condo, on April 14, 2015, he spotted a blue file folder with a document inside it labeled “How to fabricate a bomb.”

The handwritten recipe is a “word-for-word” copy of one the terrorist group al-Qaida had previously published in a propaganda magazine.
Perhaps they were planning to make some "nail soup."
