I've said it before...

...the Conservatives should lease a bus and send Justin on a cross-country tour...
“And I’ll give you the quote so that you guys can jot it down and put it in an attack ad somewhere that the Liberal party believes that terrorists should get to keep their Canadian citizenship. Because I do. And I’m willing to take on anyone who disagrees with that.”
Frankly, I'm a little surprised that the Liberals haven't asked Omar Khadr to be a candidate in next months election.

Justin Trudeau... the gift that keeps on giving.

JUST FOR GIGGLES:

Mrs Neo thinks that I am being prophetic here... that young Omar will most certainly be following in Justin Trudeau's featherweight footsteps. I guess we'll see.

RELATED: Like paying taxes?

Then you should vote NDP...
The NDP will release its plans Tuesday to build a “stronger” (translation "bigger") federal bureaucracy, including the promise of no further spending reviews or job cuts for Canada’s public servants.
Of course, the civil service unions already have higher wages and a gold plated pension plan that is seven times better than the average workers pension.
Treating public employees better than other workers is what Canada is all about.
No matter, Tommy Trotsky has their backs.

Another story you won't see on CBC...

...or any other Canadian news outlet...
"And now for today’s least shocking statistic: Just four in 10 Americans say they have a 'great deal' or a 'fair amount' of trust in the media to report the news fairly and accurately, according to new data from Gallup. That matches historic lows the media also “achieved” in 2012 and 2014."
I stopped watching the so-called television "news" a year ago and I'm a happier person for it.

Todays news is simply dumbed down push-propaganda and "info-tainment" that spotlights socialist cant while devaluing the meritocracy... that whole no "crazy, junkie, fundamentalist (unless they're Christian or Jewish), gender conflicted, low information, wannabe hippy arsonist" left behind POV.

And it'll keep on polluting our lives until we all hit the off button. There are plenty of other places to keep tabs on current events. Try it for a week and see if you can go back to CBC or CTV pablum.

Tommy Hijabfiger moves any further left...

...he'll be living in a cave in Tora-Bora...
“This is a political game being played on the backs of all Canadians who have different origins than old-stock Canadians and I am going to stand up against it.”
Sorry, Tommy... this isn't about "origins" at all. There are plenty of law-abiding immigrants in this country. Far from affecting groups of people, Bill C24 might apply to 30 of Canada's 32 million people.

This is about treason. It's about terrorism. It's about wholesale slaughter of innocents. This is actually about direct action against would be murderers of Canadian citizens.

As it stands, under Canada's existing laws, Zakaria Amara is eligible for parole in 2016. If this convicted terrorist is going to be walking around free next year, I'd rather he be living the dream in Amman, Jordan than in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver.

Let's ask a Conservative Minister...
“If somebody is found guilty of violent disloyalty to Canada, in this instance planning to murder hundreds or potentially thousands of Canadians for ideological reasons, that they are in so doing forfeiting their Canadian citizenship,” Defence Minister Jason Kenney said.
I'm good with that.

I suspect a majority of my fellow Canadians are as well. I guess we'll find out next month.

Hillary 30,000 - Bill 2

You lie this much... you think you'd be better at it...
"She used a personal email server, she said, because her husband, former President Bill Clinton, had set it up in their house after leaving office."
So what does Monica Lewinsky's old boyfriend have to say?
The former president, who does regularly use Twitter, has sent a grand total of two emails during his entire life, both as president, says Matt McKenna, his spokesman.
If Hillary has sent tens of thousands of emails and Bill has sent only two... who was this server set up for?

**********

RELATED: Go big, or go home

Remember how Mrs Bubba's last excuse for using a private email server blew up in her face?
"Associated Press has confirmed Clinton did in fact use multiple devices to conduct her official State Department business, not the one phone she previously claimed."
The truth is, Hillary learned from the master.
"Clinton shared Epstein's plane with Kellen and Maxwell on at least 11 flights in 2002 and 2003—before any of the allegations against them became public—according to the pilots' logbooks, which have surfaced in civil litigation surrounding Epstein's crimes."
What would the Clintons have to do before the media sits up and takes notice?

**********

BREAKING: A terrible, terrible liar
"Hillary Clinton says she turned over all work-related emails to the State Department, even certifying that under penalty of perjury to a federal judge in August. Now the AP reports that Obama administration officials have found emails exchanged between Clinton and David Petraeus that she did not turn over."
Will this be the one?

Back in the seventies...

...the Bell Manufacturing Company used to say... "If you've got a ten dollar head, wear a ten dollar helmet." You don't actually have to kiss asphalt at highway speed to appreciate the wisdom of that slogan.

Similarly, you can vote for Justin Trudeau... if you want Zakaria Amara to remain in Canada. The Liberal Party is the ten dollar helmet of Canadian politics. And that's just one more reason why I'm voting Conservative next month.halls of macadamia/
"The federal government has revoked the citizenship of an Islamic extremist who masterminded a plot to bomb downtown Toronto in an effort to terrorize Canadians and cripple the economy."
The Conservatives are the only political party who have the will to act against terrorism.

In contrast, Canadians should remember how Justin and Tommy Hijabfiger championed the cause of poor little Omar Khadr, admitted terrorist & murderer. Will they have Zakaria's back too?

I wonder how many voters are aware of Justin's intention to do away with the very act of Parliament that permits Canada to send Zakaria "Boom-Boom" Amara back to wherever he came from.
"Trudeau said a Liberal government would also repeal the elements of Bill C-24 that give the government the right to strip citizenship from dual nationals accused of serious crimes such as terrorism."
So, what's it gonna be?

Olivier recorded his telephone conversations with Lougheed, whom he describes as "a Liberal king maker" and with Wynne's deputy chief of staff, Pat Sorbara, in which he said he was asked if he wanted a job or an appointment.

Gerry Lougheed, a prominent Sudbury Liberal, has been charged with one count of counselling an offence not committed and one count of unlawfully influencing or negotiating appointments.
Yet another Liberal scandal. That's what you voted for, Ontario.

"Dead bodies stretch as far as my eyes can see," said Bashir Sa'ad Abdullahi, the BBC's Abuja editor, who is in Mina.
The Saudis are quick to make promises about the future...
“And we will make sure that we will learn from this and we will make sure that it doesn’t happen again,” Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir added, urging Iranian leaders to wait for the investigation results.
Unfortunately, they're talking out their arse, yet again.

Much like Ted Kennedy's car, the Hajj has killed way more (as in thousands of) people than my guns and will likely continue to do so in the future.
Hajj: Previous tragedies

2006: 364 pilgrims die in a crush at foot of Jamarat Bridge in Mina

1997: 340 pilgrims are killed when fire fuelled by high winds sweeps through Mina's tent city

1994: 270 pilgrims die in a stampede during the stoning ritual

1990: 1,426 pilgrims, mainly Asian, die in a stampede in an overcrowded tunnel leading to holy sites

1987: 402 people die when security forces break up an anti-US demonstration by Iranian pilgrims
If this had happened in Canada, Justin's Liberals would, no doubt, be calling for a "Pilgrim Registry."

I suppose if you are a religious person and your family were crushed and killed, you could console yourself with, "Gawd is just testing my faith," which, to be honest, seems like pretty thin gruel to me.

I truly do not "get" religion. Each to his own, I suppose.

While farmers, hunters and target shooters across the GTA let out a collective sigh of relief, I suspect that Detective Ward, after he completes a couple of weeks of mandatory "cultural sensitivity training" is likely looking at extended reassignment to crossing guard duties in the furthest reaches of Etobicoke.

Do you believe in Magic?

How about Bigorexia?

Bruce Jenner used surgery and chemicals to turn himself into a facsimile of a woman. He based his decision not on any measurable scientific metric... but a (and let's give him the benefit of the doubt) sincere belief that he is not actually a man. He has since been lauded by some as "courageous" and held up as a heroic figure.

It is THIS PERCEPTION, THIS BELIEF, that drives Jenner, indeed all transsexuals to what some of us consider the edge of the behavioral envelope.

In contrast to this, Bigorexics are unanimously considered to be suffering from a mental illness.
"Whereas anorexics think they are too fat when they are actually too thin, bigorexics think they look puny when, in fact, they are muscular."
The fact that Bigorexics base their behavior on AN IDENTICAL PERCEPTION, A SINCERE BELIEF that their appearance belies their true self seems not to matter.

What's going on here? Isn't this all about what you believe?

What exactly is it that makes the beliefs of one group of people so "courageous" but the beliefs of the other a "mental illness?"

Rampant sexual abuse of children has long been a problem in Afghanistan, particularly among armed commanders who dominate much of the rural landscape and can bully the population. In the October issue of Harper's Magazine Heather Mallick examines the career of Stephen Harper, who some have called, “a replicant of the Blade Runner variety.” The evidence is certainly convincing: “he speaks in a monotone, he’s impossibly rigid, and he seems unable to understand the emotions of others.”

Since he took office in 2006, Mallick writes, Harper has imported some of the worst American policy ideas—slashing the federal budget, introducing mandatory prison sentences, attacking climate scientists, expanding the war on drugs—in an attempt to turn Canada into “a nastier version of Texas.”

If he wins reelection on October 19, Mallick concludes, “Americans might want to consider a wall.”
I'm not even sure how that makes sense as one of Mallicks accusations is that, "Harper has imported some of the worst American policy ideas..."

Mallick's crowning journalistic flourish is asking if Stephen Harper's hair is "damp to the touch." She stops just shy of calling him "a silly poopyhead."

Lie #1 - Syrian citizens, Turkish beach, dangerous illegal infiltration... let's blame Stephen Harper.
The aunt of the Syrian boy whose body washed up on a Turkish beach and caused worldwide outrage said Thursday that while she had desperately tried to bring his family to Canada, no formal application to sponsor them as refugees was made on their behalf as had been previously reported.

Except, of course, that there was no actual application to come to Canada. But heck, that's Justin... he's always saying stupid stuff. Let's ask elder statesman Mulcair...
New Democrats leader Thomas Mulcair was asked similar questions at a separate campaign appearance.

Donald Trump says politically incorrect things we're all afraid to talk about these days.

It's not carefully calculated sound bites run past multiple focus groups and filtered of any actual meaning. Trump simply calls things by their proper names, and apparently, on some level, agree or disagree, a significant part of the electorate is drawn to that.
