I have only one question
...was Colin Mochrie simply unavailable... or did he balk at full-frontal nudity...
'Cos I gotta tell ya, friend... nuthin' screams "velvet touch" like a purple turtleneck...

So who plays saint Jack's expense account?
Just a huge part.
Olivia'll be portrayed by one Sook-Yin Lee who, amongst being a Much video jockey and CBC Radio host, is known for an explicit hardcore sex scene in the tax-funded art-house flick "Shortbus". No word on if there'll be a scene of married relations in "Smilin' Jack"
In other socialist news, Paul Watson of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society is now an international fugitive on par with Saadi Gaddafi.

will the movie include the Massage Parlour and police raid?

"anon asks... will the movie include the Massage Parlour and police raid?"
well, my friend... that'd be a documentary... where you more or less stick to facts.
this is a biopic... which means it all kicks off with "once upon a time..."
hmmm... is it still a secret what type of cancer jack died from? maybe the cbc can crack that code.

How come they picked a lily-white guy to play Saint Jack? What are they, racists!
I was hoping CBC would live up to their rep for diversity and cast George Laraque in the role of Jack.
Probably make the massage parlour scenes way more exciting for the gay crowd, who will comprise 75% of the audience.

good point. i'm also a little surprised (after hearing about rick roberts) they didn't cast lucy liu as olivia.
you're gonna put lipstick on a pig... you might as well go with fire engine red... right?
